In Andorra the sex ratio at birth is normal (106-107 boys/100 girls) but very high males in working group (108 men/100 women compared with 101-102 men/100 women in Western Europe) and especially at age over 65 (>90 men/100men compared 75men/100men in Western Europe). I personally don't see a problem. There are more men than usual, compared to women - and this may mean population growth is slower as a result, but this shouldn't be a major problem. However, the fact that the m/f ratio is so high in the senior-citizen population, may indicate that either a) women are dying at a high rate than in other countries in the area, or b) men are living much longer on the average there. It would be very interesting to find out which of these two alternatives is the case!!
